    It's so foul and inaccurate I have to say something. Dennis, you obviously need to read more. Gore never said he "invented" the internet; this was made up, and is a well-documented urban legend. Further, carbon offsets are the issue here, and since Gore takes active measures to reduce his carbon footprint and has encouraged others to do the same he cannot be called a "hypocrite."

    The Right, and you, can obfuscate this issue and fixate on the word "hypocrite" all they want; it doesn't change the fact that Gore has never asked people to live in small houses and to consume less than a certain amount. Again, he has encouraged people to reduce their carbon footprint by installing devices in homes and businesses. Get the distinction? It's not too hard.
